Jets to bring back Josh McCown on a one-year contract

Josh McCown is coming back for another season with the Jets.

McCown, who put together the best season of his career at age 38 in 2017, will return to Jets on a one-year, $10 million deal a source confirmed. 

It's been a busy quarterback day for the Jets, who missed out on their top priority when Kirk Cousins decided to sign with the Minnesota Vikings. The Jets are also reportedly in talks to sign free agent quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. 

And now, McCown will be in the fold. His agent, Mike McCartney, announced McCown's decision to re-sign on Twitter. 

McCown then seemingly confirmed the deal with a tweet of his own:
