Cedar Grove students awarded UNICO scholarships

The Cedar Grove Chapter of UNICO National recently awarded its annual scholarships to four students from Cedar Grove High School. The scholarships are annually awarded to students who are continuing their education at either a university or technical college.
The students were each awarded $1,000 scholarships.
The recipients were Faith Fennelly, Dan Diprenda, Alyssa Mega and David Freda. The scholarship committee included Will Larusso, Tom Perri, Amy Tufaro, Bill DiPietro, Steve DeStefano, Cheri DiPrenda and Richard Orsini.
The awards dinner was held at The Falls restaurant in Little Falls. The Chapter also donated $750 each to both the Cedar Grove Fire Department and Cedar Grove Ambulance and Rescue Squad.
