Totowa P.A.L. field gets new tennis court

The Totowa Mayor and Council along with the Totowa Board of Recreation director and borough residents celebrated the grand opening of the new tennis court at the Totowa P.A.L. field July 25.

A new tennis court opened at the Totowa PAL field last week.  The court was paid for with a grant from the Passaic County Open Space and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund. The field will also be getting new playground equipment from the open space fund. The mayor and council approved an agreement for a $91,800 grant for the new playground equipment in July. Totowa Mayor John Coiro said the borough hopes to have the equipment installed by the end of the year.
